Here’s the check I had to write with my body for this bruiser.

Shot him from the opposite side of the cut he was on. There was no way to drop in and go straight to it.

I had to drive around to the other side of the clearcut to a closed, gated road, hike in 2 miles. Find him in the bottom of a slash covered hillside and not bust myself up going down and back up.

Totally dumb shot taken for such a small animal.
I did pay out in spades ♠️ for my fûck-up.

Here’s the mtn I had to head down into. Just like a walk in the park.
