My first vehicle purchase, with my own money, was a 1948 Willy's Jeep pickup truck,
with 4-Wheel Drive, 4-Speed Transmission, with High & Low Range, and converted to a
!952 Ford Flathead V-8 Engine. Everything was so low geared, top end was about 45 mph.
We got the Jeep running just before The Great North Dakota Blizzard Of 1966.
I later traded it for a 1964 BSA 650 Hornet Scrambler...
