Agreed. I don’t go because it’s crowded and expensive, all that aside it is pretty and quite safe.

Ecologically correct too. The spectacular Blue Hole Spring a couple of miles upstream that was the headwater of the San Antonio River went dry years ago (2+ million people using the aquifer) so the River Walk is all recycled sewage water now 🙂

Damn. Hate to hear that. Was watching old Reruns of TX Country Reporter the other day, and it was an episode about the Blue Hole Springs.
