On deer, a fast-moving cup/core 150gr bullet is a very impressive bullet to stick in the lungs. I've shot the 150NBT from 3,200 to 3,400 is a 300SAUM and 300WinMag and they were rough on stuff. Some of the old-stock bullets were more frangible and did not always exit, but most animals didn't wiggle too much after being hit. I'd avoid taking hard angling-away shots, but they should be okay otherwise on deer-sized stuff.
