$2.89 is still $1.20 more than what I paid on Jan. 19, 2021. Filled up at $1.70, the day before biden took office, just to see how quick it would change. 7 days later it was $1.95, and in another 7 days, it was $2.12. This was 87 octane gasoline with up to 10% ethanol.
