Instead of letting someone like the Chinese come in and fill the power vacuum, we reengage in a small way that get the Venezuelan oil flowing to the U.S. again, while directing much of the proceeds into U.S. Capital markets, and start putting pressure on VZ to play nice again.

So the United States is basically taking oil from Venezuela by force if necessary? I fail to see how this is a good thing. I don't see how this sets a good precedent. What am I missing?
