It sounds like FedEx cooperated with the investigation and provided information (probably GPS data) that helped with the arrest.

Absolutely, but it's a question worth asking. Did Fed Ex have any knowledge of this guy's propensity? Was he a known perv?
Or perhaps; SHOULD FedEx have known, but did state “woke-ass feel good” bullshart laws preclude FedEx from asking about the murdering pedophile’s history? If so, I’d be happy to sue HELL outta said state.
