Appreciate the suggestions, thank you all. Probably start with a BT, but a Blitzking is tempting.
And yes, don’t disagree that a well-placed BT will get a lot done. But. There’s no doubt he will put the girls on both deer species and elk some year soon. A BT would be fine, and a bad shot is a bad shot. But a ttsx is sensible in performance here, and is also a game projectile ballpark-similar in mass/recoil to a more economical varmint bullet so kind of set on the idea.
