I sent this photo of a WT exit chest wound, shot with my .358 Win Pre-64 FTW (JES re-bore). I got a return email from Steve Davis, letting me know about the symmetrical frag holes surrounding the core exit hole from the 178 gr. Shock Hammer. I had missed it. He knew what he was looking at.

The Shock Hammer reportedly has 80% weight retention, evidently not as frangible as some of their other bullets. Google "Types of Hammer Bullets" for an explanation of each series design specs. The Hunter Hammer has 60-70% retention, the Dead Blow, around 40-50%.
