Offshore man, my comment was not necessarily about steep angles and ballistic calibration with the BDC reticle. It was about the relatively short eye relief at high power zoom combine with awkward angle shooting positions and Lightweight rifles. I’m launching 160 grain at coupons at 3000 ft./s with the Ackley, and it’s pretty snappy. With a steep uphill shot and I’m pretty sure that scope would be tagging my eyebrow. Not a problem with your flatlander or even for a lot of western hunting, but something to keep in mind
