We beat the absolute hell outta em that last two days. Yella dog picked up a bunch.
We sure did have a great hunt! I’ve never seen the Specks work the decoys like the did the past few days. We had some absolute epic Speck hunts. Ducks were a bit more shy, but we did well with them too. Lots of Pintails and Teal in the area. It was a much different hunt than our usual flooded timber, Stuttgart trip. Not really better, just different. My brown pup got his turn picking up some birds as well. He handled a lightly wounded Speck pretty well, which made me relieved and pretty happy!
