If anyone needs to fly in for this, don't hesitate to consider Rochester, NY airport. While it is a 3 hour drive, its a very easy drive with only 2 stopsigns between the airport and Wellsboro. 4 lane hwy most of the way.
For hotels, don't just look in Wellsboro. There are several about `15 minutes west of Wellsboro on Rte 6. The Canyon Motel is one and there are many cabins for rent in the "Ansonia" and "Rexford" areas. Suggest if some want to group together and rent a house, you could save a bit of money too as many choices with multiple bedrooms for $200 and less per night. Look at the Pinecreek Lodge on VRBO or AIRBNB. The Pine Creek Lodge has 4 bedrooms I know and is very big. Not sure if it is available but there are many others in that area. Several campgrounds too, one in the Gaines, PA area, I think it used to be called Kearses Campground but that was long ago. Very nice though.
