The Fair Tax is the way to go.

It’s a consumption tax.

If your salary is $1000/week, you will receive a check from your employer for $1000 with no withholding

Consumers will pay taxes by spending. Like stated previously, no taxes will be levied on the basic necessities for anyone.

If you don’t want to pay a bunch of tax, you have that choice by not buying things. It insures that people with higher incomes generally will pay more tax based on luxury purchases

It eliminates the IRS because all taxes are collected and paid by businesses which they already do now. Business owners are unpaid tax collectors for the government
