It’s the way it works. You can’t afford piss off the powers that are. Rand Paul endorsed Bitch Mitch for senator last go round. It’s up to us to change that. Get involved in local and state politics. Get elected to a position in the party politics. These people that run the party are entrenched and sort of a dynasty thing. I know a woman whose father was a big fish in East Texas GOP politics for years. When he died she took over. She had an agency in Austin that raises money to support the favored candidate. It’s going to be a hard nut to crack.
