Following with interest! I started cleaning the barrel on my Styer M95, to quote someone else….it looked like a sewer pipe! It’s probably been in the family around 100 years…..and I know for a fact that it hasn’t been cleaned for 50+ years…..cause that’s how long I’ve had it!
The bore looks better, but still stained and I’m seeing what appears to be a lot of tiny surface rust spots. After a good cleaning and polishing of the chamber, I’ll Cerrosafe the chamber to verify that the cartridge is what I think it is! memtb
