We had a terrible initiative, Measure 114, barely pass in Oregon and it had me scrambling to get ahead of the game so I wouldn’t feel the need to buy anything under the rules of this turd before it gets tossed by SCOTUS. To that end among other things I bought an unfired J-bolt era stainless M700 in 7 SAUM as a donor for a future build. I paid way more than the above numbers you guys are tossing around for it. And I’m very glad I did. Point being, all it takes is one desperate fool to drive prices up beyond what seems reasonable!
