It's a mystery rifle then! Very cool, perhaps even more so.

We bought a gorgeous hand built saddle for the girls that was unmarked. Not Mexican leather or tree either, but all very fine materials and construction. Our best guess was some apprentice put it together in the '50's likely by the style.

That's what your rifle reminds me of sir, a solid build with a bit of a mysterious past.
