I agree. Whether an actor is typecast, or whether they lack depth, the result is the same. Bruce Willis is one who seemed typecast and having shallow abilities, but watching him in Death Becomes Her, and The Sixth Sense changed my mind quickly.

I haven't watched Daniel Day Lewis in much, but Oldman is definitely a chameleon.
