I don't have a M7 KS, but have an M7 in a Manners EH8 carbon fiber stock, that's under 6lbs bare and just under 7lbs "all up".

I use 2 scopes in Warne QD rings:

Swarovski 1.24-4X sighted for 225s
Leupold VX3HD 2.5-8x36 (pictured) sighted for 200 Horn Interlocks (my whitetail load)

The 1.25-4 works well in the brush as the reticle is very heavy:

IMHO the 8X on the high end works well for the "max" range the .350 and I have no issues staying on an 8" plate at 300yds with it. The low range is fine for stand and still hunting. Both scopes have held up find with the recoil.

I'm prepping for an elk hunt now and will probably end up leaving the .350 behind and taking either my .300WM or my 8x68. As I've set up my M7 now it's a solid 300-350yd set up, but the terrain is going to dictate the potential need for a little longer reach.
