Took it to Kalispell gun show and asked Monte Mandarino, he couldn’t ID it. He did say some of the work looked like Burgess though…


Bob West of Eugene Oregon did this kind of work when he was alive. Shortened actions, converting right hand bolts to left hand, barrel work. His checkering was unbelievable even when he was 80 years old. Every stock I have seen that he made had a fairly open grip. Just a possibility. Here's the .375 H&H he built for me on a original left hand action.
