In whatever realm one may delve you will usually find Negative Ninnies overwhelmed with their own vast inferiority complexes attempting to fit into normality by self-aggrandizing. Democrats in drag disguise but with vast imaginations or abilities to mimic and/or magnify negativities others have expressed. Sometimes I wonder if the Leupold haters are of such ilk.
I'd estimate that I have shot thousands of rounds under Leupolds through relatively stout recoiling guns, a lightweight, short barreled Ithaca 37 shooting slugs and magnum turkey loads, single shot 30-284 loaded to the max, then a Kimber Montana 300WSM. I saw a 12ga shotgun dropped 12 - 14 ft from a tree stand. It landed on the M8 2Xscope. When later tested the slugs were averaging 1" high and 1" to the right at 70 yards. I now have that scope. It's mounted on my 20ga TC Turkey. In 2004 I had a Leupold fail but given their history with me I'm sold on the brand.
