We almost never buy ice cream anymore.
We bought an inside freezer that freezes completely without having to put in the deep freeze.

We make all sorts, but to each one we add 4 oz of liquor. It gives it a punch and leftover ice cream goes in the deep freeze and stays soft without crystallizing.

Bailey's Irish Cream is great in it. other flavors we sometimes use Creme de Cacao, Kahlua, homemade cherry bourbon, etc.
