No, I distinguished models and features. I did not falsely report that the Vari-X II had 1/4 inch click adjustments as you did. The Leupold Vari-X II, in all factory variations, did not have 1/4 inch or MOA click adjustments.

The "c" indicates a design change in the Vari-X II line of scopes. In 1984 Leupold changed the scope internal design to provide more windage and elevation adjustment travel.

They don't mention going from 1/2 MOA-increment friction adjustments to 1/4 MOA click adjustments. That would be a pretty big change that they would be sure to report when given the chance. They didn't because no Leupold Vari-X II was factory produced with 1/4 MOA click adjustments, including the Vari-X IIc.
