Got a primo elk tag this year and I will be toting a 6mm creedmoor shooting 105bthp. Don't think I'm giving up anything but gaining shootability.
Shots might be sub 60yds or 500+....not a worry about cartridge choice.
With a high-demand tag, it wouldn’t be my choice, but ok
