Sure did. Nowhere in the thread was it stated who did the welding. It may have been implied when Goalie talked about having more welding helmets for the scouts, but in order to form an accurate conclusion regarding who actually did the welding, there was not enough information given.
Huh. Maybe I misinterpreted Goalies statement:
“Yeah, it was just 2" tubing I had in my scrap pile. It was the first rocket stove, and I didn't make it, a few scouts did.”
Good on you Goalie for teaching the young ones some of your skills.
