Normally I debone and gind but I would like to try a few different things.

First up will be the easiest -- crock pot pulled deer for sandwiches.

Wannabebwana (Marty) suggested keeping bone in neck roasts, if I wasn't worried about CWD, which we are not - as he stated they are great for soups.

So, I do have 3 bone in neck roasts in the freezer, which we haven't got to yet !

Think I'll smoke one, in the summer & then finish in the oven or crock pot, too.

Up to date, they have been slow cooked & pulled, then used in a variety of ways.
