I have a 222 in the standard configuration and used to use it for turkeys in PA’s fall turkey season (before the PA Game Commission saw fit to exclude rifles😡). I’ve never heard of a running deer model made by Remington but knew one of the armorers for the US Olympic team from the 1960’s that made some up for the team - that is interesting that Remington made some - I’d love to see pics of it!! The standard and deluxe ones are selling pretty high but yours would garner even more (I would think)!! I’ve watched a few .222s and .223s sell around $3000 lately on the internet auction sites. Yours would (should) be north of that!!
