I use imperial wax on the outside of the case in the sizing die, but dip the neck in powdered graphite for the expansion step via mandrel. I don't bother cleaning it out after because I believe it prevents or at least reduces bullet weld. Graphite is already in the equation anyway as an anti-clumping agent on most powders.
