Very nice, indeed. I've had only two opportunities to acquire one in the last 30 years or so. Both times I just couldn't justify the expense, as cool as they are.

Same here; they've always been a rare find and out of my price range. This one was owned by a local retired cop, and while it wasn't exactly "cheap" it was much cheaper than you'll normally find one, especially an S-serial. I'm on the hunt for a pair of diamond PC Magnas, now.

I have an S prefix Model 57 in nickel, but I like your 58 much better.

Thank you. While I own exactly one nickel gun and really enjoy it (a model 57-0), it's a finish that I normally shy away from.
