Yeah, I sure miss it, but it's all changed now--lots of outfitters and obnoxious nonresidents--not like the guys that taught me to hunt. The early hunts above timberline were really special--incredible scenery, big muley bucks still in the velvet, and spectacular afternoon thunderstorms. I'm a pretty confirmed Coues deer hunter now, but the years have crept up on me--it may be back to desert mule deer in a year or two...
