Basically since that time they went to cheaper carbon and stainless steel knives and do not make any of the blades in the original plant. There is a usa made series of fixed blades that are only assembled at the marbles plant. Camllus was making the blades until they went under a few years ago. Nobody seems to know how is making the blades at this time. They are also having folding knives made in china and fixed blades made in Pakistan currently.
Wow! That stinks. Glad I loaded up those first few years they were back, then.

PS How do you tell by the spacers what year a Marbles knife was made?
