+1 they are lapped. Hard chrome highly doubtful .


lapped?...I highly doubt it...lapping is way too labour intensive on a production basis for a rifle in the price range of the Tikka T3...and lapping is usually reserved for cut rifled barrels...not button rifled....chrome plated?..never.
