Not giving up on it yet, but started with 165gr Hornady IB Factory ammo, had a box of 150gr Rem Core Lok Factory ammo, and moved into reloading.

Loaded up 15 more of the 75.5gr RL22 and 180 Accubonds. I think this combo is darn nice.

The crown on this rifle wasn't the worst by any means, but darn sure wasn't the best. I pulled out a brass tool I made some time back and grabbed some lapping compound. Heck with it, going to give it a try. Ran wheeler 220grit then followed by Iosso bore paste. Looks great, no burs etc.

Looks great now, taking my loads and going to run some groups.

BTW, the lapping tool I built worked on a stainless barrel I had been playing with on another gun. Really made an improvement. Takes a little time and ease of the wrist (using drill), but hey it worked.
