While not a .375, I have used the 225 gr. Sierra BT from a .35 Whelen a fair bit and it is a accurate, inexpensive bullet that puts stuff down in a hurry. I had one separate from the jacket in a average size black bear at about 80 yds, but the bear was dead in the trail, never took a step. At about 2650 fps in my rifle, it is a great deer load. My favorite in the Whelen is the 225 gr. Partition in handloads or the 225 gr. TBBC in Federal factory loads. Those are loads to go anywhere, do anything that you would need the Whelen for, but for paper and game less than 500 lbs, the Sierra is just fine.
