This has worked for me. "then something to use for high power." You don't mention what you want to do. I had MGM make me a 30/40 krag barrel and it shoots better then me. The Contender is a nice carry gun. Your also able to get barrels in 45/70 and JDJ375 but those are hard on the shooter
