Think I'll try RL22 for a starter and then RL25. However, I don't need the tightest groups possible as elk are big targets so I prolly won't spend a lot of effort on load development. I expect my rifle to shoot near 1" with this E-Tip.

BTW,I whacked a big bull in Colorado last fall with an offhand broadside shot at 180 yards. The 250 gr Partition Gold pushed by 90 grs of RL25 took out both shoulders penetrating completely. He hit the ground right on the spot without taking a single step, which is very rare for elk. He was lying there coughing up his lungs when I walked up and finished him. My previous two bulls were also older bulls and each managed to swagger about 20-30 yards after taking this same load thu one shoulder and lungs on quartering shots. One bullet penetrated completely, the other I found lodged in the opposite shoulder.
