Just a quick post because RB was good enough to put this subject up. I haven't done a tremendous amount of big game hunting with a pistol. 2 antelope to date, both shot with a 7TCU in a contender. I wasn't too happy with the results. Both were one shot kills, but I didn't get any bullet expansion. Both were with with Hornady single shot pistol bullets. I opted for more power and made the jump to a 7-08 encore, but haven't shot anything but varmints so far. I've been packing various 44's around for years and ahve killed lots of odd varmints with them. But I'm still wishing for a Freedom Arms. Either in a 454 or a 44. I've looked for a used one for several years, and guess I'm just going to have to break down and order one. I would be willing to trade a Wyoming Antelope hunt for one if anyone is interested?????
