6x6,<BR>I don't have the pistol experience for much of a reply. I think the ballistic tips are probably the way to go in a single shot pistol, although I'm not real fond of them at rifle velocities. The one thing I have figured out is a guy damn sure needs some shooting sticks of some sort. I hunt coyotes alot (with a rifle) and used a set of homemade sticks for years. But about a year ago I started using a Snipe Pod. They attach to your sling stud and I find them alot more versatal than say the Harris Bi-pod. I'm thinking about putting a sling stud on the fore end of my Encore to mount to. I think that will be the ticket. The Snipe Pod is made by Kramer Ind. of Montana.
