I just picked up a Ruger Hawkeye in a 257 roberts and am wondering what bullet is best for whitetails. I was thinking about 100 gr tsx, or maybe 115 partitions. Any input would be greatly appreciated.
I've recently been shooting 117 Sierra GameKings(w/H4350) in my Bob and they shoot very well, right around MOA out to 400 yards. Don't think I've ever shot a deer with a SGK but imagine it will work just fine.
