Do you think I will be able to make it to 2900 fps with the 120gr Nosler BT and 2800 with any of the 129-130gr bullets out of a 22" barrel 6.5x55 in a modern action? I'm open to powder suggestions. I have a variety of brass, WLR and 215 primers. I figure it's time to break the habit of 160 gr. Bullets.
No trouble at all. Vihtavuori has loads for 3150fps with 130gr bullets in their 2008 manual.

HERE Be aware that Vihtavuori loads do not seem to have the "built in lawyer safety margin" that many have come to expect in American load data. Start 10% and work up because many of their top loads are too hot for some of my rifles!
