Just returned from 10 days in the Idaho Panhandle chasing bears. Saw a total of 14, but they were either too small, sows with cubs, or stalks that didn't pan out, and I never fired a shot. Had a great time any way. Camped in beautiful country, was with good company and away from work, so killing a bear would've only been a bonus. The drive kinda sucks though. 14 hours from the time we left camp until I rolled in the door!
