There is a down side to trying to speed up the lock time on a Mauser. Heavier springs cause the cocking effort to go up by a surprising amount. The Tubb firing pin lacks the safety shoulders of the M98 pin. For what it is worth, I charge $85 to fit a Gentry safety, and I am not making a bunch for the time required.
