Fewer people use the 130 in a 7/08, but its a good high BC bullet, and flies flat at good speeds in the 7-08 and yes has a reputation as a killer. Dropped a doe running across a field about 200 yds with that bullet from a 7mm BR rifle, and I do believe those loads had IMR4895. It's a good one, often overlooked or unknown. Sierra made a Single Shot pistol bullet in 130, dropped a doe with it from a 7/08 700V in the late 90s in Tx, used IMR4895 also. That load also shot VERY well in a Micro-Medallion Abolt, RIVALED the accuracy I got in the 700 Varmint!
