I have used it in my SW 625 with no ill effects and Glock and HK both have stated their gun will handle the pressure but wear will be accelerated. I have only seen one 1911 that was set up for it and it would not function regular .45acp without swaping springs when you swapped ammo.
Hunt hard, kill clean, waste nothing and offer no apologies.
