i havent loaded lighter then 150s in the 3006. but i also have rifles that shoot 110gr weight bullets very well. these bullets are hi bc bullets. thel shoot flatter and buck the wind better the 110 triple shocks or tipped triple shocks

id did do some varmit slash deer loads in my 3006 useing 150gr noler bts these loads were acurate and killed coyotes and varmits on a regular basis.

as i type this i thought of a good use for useing a tough triple shock type bullet weighing 110grs in the 3006 , a reduced load for new shooter to begin deer hunting with but to still have enough ommph to take deer and elk with well placed shots
