No experiance witht he 22-250 but I have been playing with a couple 22x47s with fast twists. One has a 8T schillen and the other a 7.7T (may actually be a 7.5 too many guns) Kreiger. I had problems with the 90s out of the 8 twist but otherwise it is a great shooter. The 7.7 shoots the 90s very well. I have made several 1K plus hits on PDs with the 90s. I doubt there is much difference between the 22-250 and the 22x47 thaat would cause the 22-250 not to shoot with heavy bullets. Try some vv560 with the 80s
