Nosler No. 6 lists it for highest velocity with those two bullet weights. Kinda surprised me. That's why I wanted some realworld info. Loads listed are compressed and high density. mtmuley
I go shooting with a couple of retired gents, semi-wealthy, and rifle looneys. Their current obsession is hotrodding the CRAP out of long barrelled 30-06's with RL-22.
My skepticism of the velocities led me to demand they shoot their rifles through my Oehler (they run CED M2's). Let's just say I tend to stand waaay back when they shoot their "magical" RL-22 loads.
After a while I did get them to admit two things; case life was very short, and temperatures affected their velocity and ES quite a bit........
