After years of being tempted I built one on a pre 64 M70 action, Lilja barrel, 25" IIRC,and Bansner stock.
It was a great rifle and cartridge,very accurate so long as I stayed away from Swift S'cos which threw fliers.Velocities variously ran 3300+ with 130's.
I sold it because I could not see that it did anything that a handloaded 7RM did not do with the same range of bullets;plus I already had 270 Win and 7RM rifles so the 270 Roy seemed superfluous.
I sold it to a pal who still has it and will sell it back but I likely won't buy it because I have mag 7's and can't see a 270 on a magnum case when you can have a 7mm.
