Hi Kevin,

I don't own a mouse gun nor would I ever trust my life to one. They are curios, novelties, etc. They should never be relied upon for self-defense.

Now Sig makes a right nice little .40 S&W, which is about as small as I'd want to go where a bad choice might mean becoming a ghost tomorrow. I don't own one, so I ain't singing a tune for Sig. I'm just saying (writing) that mice are on the bottom of the food chain for a reason.

My rule, which has been overruled by others with their rules, is to protect my life with nothing smaller than a .40 S&W. It's making a pretty good name for itself. It ain't a .45 ACP, but then again, only a .45 ACP is a .45 ACP.

When even women ask me about self-defense handguns, I tell 'em go .45 ACP & forget the rest; unless you're gunna take up mouse hunting, in which case you'd want a little more than a Mickey Mouse gun.

Stay Safe,

R
