.243bis my favorite caliber. It's super easy to shoot, tons of great bullets, and is a wicked killer. It just drops stuff.

Your plan of dropping a Rem 700 into a McMillan stock is a winner. Shoot it 'til the barrel pukes, then rebarrel with a 1-8" twist and go out and kill stuff. It will reach 1,200 yards easily.


It's all in the reflexes.
